KF’s Vision
MINDSET
MINDSET is founded by Jardine Matheson in 2002 as the Group’s registered mental health charity. For over two decades, it has played a pioneering role in fostering inclusive communities where mental health is better understood, supported, and prioritised. In 2026, MINDSET integrated into The Keswick Foundation to further extend and strengthen its mental health impact across Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland. Through an evidence based and impact focused approach, the Foundation advances mental health work by directing support to areas of greatest need.
MINDSET focuses on supporting early intervention, anti stigmatisation, and capacity building initiatives that enhance mental health literacy, encourage timely help seeking, and strengthen community responses to mental health challenges. Its work spans prevention, recovery oriented approaches, and community resilience, alongside initiatives that support workplace reintegration and job readiness for persons in recovery—enabling gradual and sustained reconnection with work and community life.
